What mods are there for the slim ps2?

Well, I just got a slim PS2. I wanna mod it, but dont know what mod chips there are for it. can some people tell me the mods, and what they do please? help is much appreciated

Get a flip-top lid and swap magic. That will let you play backup games, import games, etc. No need for a mod chip.

Wow cool it, and I agree with hans about the SwapMagic. I've been doing this for custom GH2 songs.

Definitely SwapMagic + Flip Top

To play imports/backups of PS1 discs, you're going to need something like BreakerPro.

BreakerPro has been a lifesaver with my FF games. The discs are pristine (and all original black box, not greatest hits) and they never get touched. I use BreakerPro to play copies of the discs.
