What model Silent Boost do I have?

I bought a Silent Boost a few years ago for my Barton 2500+ and it worked great. When I was at CompUSA last year, I saw a Silent Boost on their clearance shelf. It was just the fan in a plastic case (no manuals, etc), but it was a good price and (I thought) I knew how to install it. I bought it planning to use it in a HTPC project.

Last night, I tried to put it on a Shuttle MN31N with another Barton 2500+. However, the clips on the sides didn't fit my socket. There were 3 on each side like my socket, but the clips were bigger.

I tried searching on Thermaltake, but all I got info about was the RX X8 which doesn't look my Silent Boost (different fan).

Before I sell this on AT FS/FT, I want to know what socket/cpu it's meant for. Is there a way to find out? I don't see any model #'s on the Silent Boost.

You probably had the Silent Boost K7 for your Barton, but picked up the newer Silent Boost K8 (s754/s939 boards only) for the A64 line. I believe Silent Boost is inscribed on the side of the heatsink, but I don't remember if it includes the model designation.

Lucky. I was trying to find one of those Silent Boosts everywhere but it was completely sold out before I could even order my components.

Thanks for the reply BlueWeasel. It says Silent Boost on the top, but I don't see anything written anywhere else except for www.thermaltake.com, which is etched on the bottom IIRC.
