What mobo would you recommend for a Barton 2500?

After perusing the hot deals forum I decided I should upgrade my unit. This will be my first self-built computer. I do not know how to select a motherboard for this processor or even what to look for in a motherboard in terms of compatibility and performance. I'm looking to spend under $100 for the motherboard.

Also, is there anything special I need to know about building an AMD system?

Thanks for your wisdom,

I'm very happy with both my Soltek SL-75FRN-L and Epox 8RDA. Currently running the 2500XP Barton on the Epox with a "mild" overclock of 166x12.5 (boots up as a 2800XP).

I am gonna go with the 8rda+ because it has been good to me so far..

Plus it's only about $80 bucs..

The Abit NF-7s would be my choice if you need a few "extra" features...

I believe the Asus A7N8X Deluxe still provides slightly better performance, but the Epox 8RDA+ and a few others have all multipliers unlocked, whereas the Asus only has 12.5 and below.
