Soltek for me.. I have 3 PC's in my house all running Soltek.. and they all run like a dream (each model is different too)

Asus A7N8X Deluxe very nice MB & a massive thread in the motherboards forum.

Just put together a system for my wife with one & it's awesome. Biggest headache was putting on the SATA adapters on the IDE drives to set up her RAID. 2 tricks to setting up the ASUS, don't forget the jumpers for FSB & RAID, otherwise, simple set up.

Got a refurb A7N8X Deluxe from Newegg too, won't post on anything but the default speeds, just sent it to Asus, hopefully, they'll send me one that works.

I myself was going for that same Gigabyte board because its so feature rich. (Please, someone else find me a mobo with so much goodies on it: 4xUSB2.0, 2xIEEE 1394, SATA RAID AND IDE RAID, Gigabit LAN, 4xDIMM slots, etc...) + it's $8 less 🙂

It all depends on what you need. I believe the GA-7N400PRO has nVidia's Soundstorm, the GA-7N400PRO2 (the one you linked is the PRO2) doesn't. It has some Realtek integrated sound. Integrated sound wasn't really important to me because I already have an Audigy Platinum eX that has proven good enough. I do like Asus for the reliability and stability, as well as the many compliments people give the A7N8X Deluxe, but it just didn't have everything I was looking for. Every person has different needs from a mobo, find the one that has everything YOU need.

Note: I heard the PRO2 doesn't have vdimm and vcore changes in the BIOS, only the regular PRO. It could have changed with a new BIOS update, but as I don't have the board myself, I couldn't tell you. Just something to note.
