What MOBO to go with 3500+

Hello,
I am going to get an AMD 3500+. I already have a ATI X800xl pci express video card. Question is which motherboard would be the best if I'm not going to overclock it. Should I just stick with the fan that comes with the cpu or upgrade. If so what should I get?
I'm looking to spend around $100-125. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

If you're not overclocking, you can get a nice board for about $100. Chaintech has an NF4 for right around $100. I recently bought a Soltek K8TPRO and it's working just fine.

Another vote for the stock fan. It works just fine and it's too loud.

Quietest for cpu cooling or the quiestest fan on the motherboard northbridge?

My Soltek is all passively cooled to it adds no noise.

If you're looking for super quiet on the CPU, Zalman makes some very quiet (and huge) heatsinks. A thermaltake with a Panalfo fan would be another excellent option.

Oh, if you're looking for a super quiet PSU to go with all this, Seasonic is incredibly quiet.

ok...

Would this motherboard:

I would recommend the Epox EP-9NPA. It is a high end motherboard at a reasonable price that fits your budget. It performs extremely well and has probably the best and cleanest layout. Stock fan is fine.

You will have no problem working with and tinkering with it since there will be no interference between the components. The user guide that comes with this board is also very detailed and will help you if you run into any problems. This board is highly recommended.

I would not get the Chaintech VNF4 motherboard that is being recommended by some people here. It completely lacks any Firewire support. It's documentation and user guide is of low quality, if any. It also has poor labeling which makes the setup a more of a hassle. The Epox board is better in every way.

Or you can get the DFI Lanparty UT Ultra, which is also a very nice board.
