what mobo should i get to go with my 3500 venice?

i cant decide. too mnay choices. i was looking at dfi-ultra-d. but ive heard its kind of hard to set up. waht else should i look at? or is it easy to set up im not sure

I can see why the DFI gets mentioned, but why does the MSI get mentioned so much? I don't remember any real area where it shines.

What do you mean? The DFI is a good board and offers things that no other board does, but I don't see anything so great about the MSI.

IMHO: DFI for O/C and Asus for running stock.
 
as far as i can tell b4 there was lanparty there was the msi... very stable and been around allitle longer i believe.

i think it depends on what you want to spend.

i looked at cheftech (something like that= similar to neweggs sister site) where you can compare the boards side by side.

i may go with the dr one.... only 40-50 bucks more..

just came back from the dfi boards.. you may want to check out the power rquirements and type of mem.. it is being recommended that you do not use value ram.. YMMV.. hehe.. goodluck.
