So the I wouldn 't have any SATA problems with my vid card and stuff on the MSI board? And noone really responded to the Venice question, I know that these NF3 boards work with other 90nm CPU's but what about the couple new features that Venice will bring? SSE3 and the new memory controller, I am sure the memory controller is alright, but I am not so sure with the SSE3...

Well thanks for all the help so far!!

Sometimes going "overkill" can be a good thing. :D
Incidently, I'm looking at the 420 or 520 powerstream for my new build too.
Good luck with the parts huntin man.

OK ya'll now for updated status..I have ordered everything now. I chose the 3200+ Rev. E, the MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum, 2x1gb Corsair Value select pc3200, 520w OCZ Modstream, Thermalright XP90c (already have a 92mm tornado and Vantec fanbus). Everything should be here by wednesday andI have thursday off of work and school so I should be able to do a lot of tweaking then and I will be sure to update this with overclocking results and all that good ol' stuff. Oh yeah....1 quick question: I currently have a raid-0 array setup on my Nforce2 motherboard and I wanted to know any tricks or anything get it back up on this new system. I do imagine I will have to totally wipe my Windows drive and all but I have multiple partitions and would love to here some news that I can somehow get all my other stuff on thius new system without wiping it? Let me know if that is even possible...Not too much of a big deal as I have extra drives laying around that I can just temporarily use to do some backing up, but it would save time and effort, thanks!!

I installed everything last night and can't seem to get everything running correctly. I have the Neo 2 Plat with the 1.5 bios, and all the components listed above. I have my memory at 3-3-3-11-2t with 2.7v, cpu at stock w/ a 3.3% increase in vcore because the board was undervolting and being extremely flaky at first.

My problems are: I fail prime95 torture test, the high fft test, it seems within 20 minutes although it seems to be going steady this time. Core center is giving me readings of CPU Temp 49c, Sys Temp 29c, vcore 1.39 - 1.41v, 3.3v @ 3.3v, 5v @ 4.97v, 12v @ 11.78 - 11.90v. Everything there seems pretty decent to me. Everytime the prime95 test has failed I was afk, maybe the system was being lame and going into sleep mode or something, because I am now 1 test past the first 2 times I had failed.

I also tested with memtest last night and made it thru 3 passes using all memory with my current settings to try to see if it was a memory problem.

Edit: Prime 95 failed at 25 minutes....looks like it wasn't do to me being afk....got any ideas?
I just went on newegg to verify the stock voltages of the Venice core, they say it is 1.5v, why did my mobo default it to about 1.36v? Is it reall 1.5v?

Tried running the Small FFT torture test and I failed due to hardware failure at 1 hour and 36 minutes....
Edit: I upped the Memory voltage from 2.70v to 2.85v and prime95 failed before 1 minute. I am now trying 2.75v and it hasn't failed yet. Any ideas?

i hear thatm have any ideas though...one more thing. I lowered memory voltage to 2.6v and am still running prime95, but this time so far I have ran prime95 with one pass of 3dmark 2001se. Seems like my memory doesn't like the higher voltages..?
