Just checking the trend and curious what coolers fit what mobos. what kind of results are you getting?

I'm planning on getting an Iwill kk266 with The Core for my 1.2Gh 266fsb, within 2 weeks. Will post results later.

mitaiwan82, thats what teamwork is about! Team Anandtech has ways to help.
I've been running all my machines right through the Berkley fibre cut and the Seattle quake,
24/7. Are you on the TeAm? If not head over to the Distributed Computing forum and ask around!
If so then do the same, there's no reason to go without work units.;)

1) CUSL2 P-III 700E @ 1000 w/ FDP-38, the ole FDP's are BIG but do fit most ASUS mobos and cool great! w/ 38cfm fan.
2) MSI pro2-A Duron 600 @ 950 w/ WBK-38, nice newer fan thats BIG and barely fits buts cools great!
both use Artic Silver.

Using ASUS P3V4X with MSI slotket, PIII550E stock HSF and O/C to 733 mhz but getting temp readings between 45 and 55 degrees C. Bought a Taisol to fit this FCPGA CPU to cool it better.

Asus A7V w/A7V133a bios..Tbird 1gig@1200 w/alpha pep66t modded via a push/pull fan setup.FWIW temp reads no higher than 48C under load.

KT7A-R
1.2ghz Thunderbird @ 1.35ghz (9X150, 1.70v)
Kanie Copper Hedgehog/Delta 38CFM

Running Seti 24/7 for the team. :):)

Temps:

Idle - 28c - 34c

Full Load - 35c - 38c

Temps are taken with flat thermal probe slid between the HSF and the CPU PCB, with the tip touching the core. The in-socket themistors of all Socket A boards are very inaccurate...

Adding some temps is a good idea, readings from Motherboard Monitor 5.04:

Asus CUSL2-C, PIII 700e@1002, Alpha PAL 6035 CPU temp 44C under full load, 31C idle
Abit BH6, PIII 700e@868 GORB (who knows) MBM5 says 37C but I don't trust the BH6
Abit BX6R2, cel300a@464 Globalwin dual fan 37C (I think these are mobo temp on the BX boards)

All three running seti@home 24/7 using Team Anandtech proxy to get work units during seti@home outages. All three also being internet browsing stations / work stations / game boxes.
