what minimum Cisco Router Model for NAT and internal DHCP?

I'm looking for the minimum Cisco Router that can do what mentioned on the topic.

I will be hooking it up to a switch - the PC will get IPs from the switch propagated from the Cisco Router.


Another word, NO SERVER WOULD BE REQUIRED for IP management.

What kind of line speeds? A Cisco 67x is what many ISP's will hand out with their DSL services. It supports the features you need.

If you've got a T1 to the ISP, most will recommend at least a 1600 and more likely a 2600-series. I don't know about their ability to really be a DHCP server, however.

generally you'd have two redundant DHCP servers handing out addresses for ALL networks. I believe even the 800 series can run DHCP
