What minimum amounts do you normally do with your secret santa?

When you do a secret santa with friends or family what is the minimum you normally do?

With family we normally do one for $125 to $150 minimum, did one with some friends last year for a cheapo $25, wasn't impressed.

we usually do $50 recommended...but everyone is free to do what they wish. it's about having the family together - not about seeing who can spend the most money.
