Need advice. I am upgrading to a Barton 2800+ from a 1700+ (i have an MSI n-force 333fsb)

I'm looking at 2x512 kingston hyperx ddr333-pc-2700 for 188.00
or
2x512 ddr400 pc-3200
or
2x512 ddr466 pc-3700

So my processor will be running at 333fsb. My memory should run at the same...correct????

So my confusion lies here...Would there be any benefit to buying the pc-3200 or pc-3700 & running it at 333???
the only benefit I can see is using it for future 400fsb mobo/proc. upgrades. Am I missing anything here.

thanks much

at the minimum..pc2700(DDR333) ..better is just future-proofing unless serious oc'ing and always more memory is good when doing "stuff" :D

so would pc-3200 run at 400 with my setup, or would it run at 333?? I'm just not to sure about stability issues.
Thanks scrap :)

Last I saw the price difference between PC2700 and PC3200 was almost nil, so choose base on price if you plan to run at stock fsb speeds. Also, yes, it is better to run the ram at the cpu fsb speed, any ram rated hiher will run at the lower speed fine, likely even better.
