BlueAcolyte Platinum Member Nov 19, 2007 2,793 2 0 Feb 15, 2008 #2 No, you don't really need any particular speed for a Intel quad-core. Anything DDR2-533 or above will work... RAM speed has more effect for an AMD proccessor. Just get a 2x2GB kit or something for either one.
