What memory for Conroe?

Like many, I plan on pulling the trigger on a Conroe here shortly,and I need advice. I'm not looking to do any extreme overclocking, maybe just a 5 or 10% bump over stock. I'd like to run 2 gigs (a matched pair of 2x 1G chips) of memory. The E6700 (2.67GHz) runs @ 1000 FSB, right? If that's the case PC 5400 would do ok then? From my research, when you go much faster than 5400, the matched pairs are generally 2 x 512mb sets, and the price begins to get pretty steep. Any help or insight appreciated.

PC5400 will be just fine. Conroe will run on 1066mhz FSB.

thtas fine with conroe.Or u could get ddr2-800 ram cause that will be compatable natively with the i965 chipsets.(i think)
