What media to use with DVD-RAM drive?

So the new rig at work has DVD-RAM. I guess DVD -R, DVD +R won't work?

Probably not, unless it's a Panasonic. We have a 2 year old DVD RAM drive sitting here collecting dust in the office...

It's a multidrive so I think it takes normal media too.

If not, DVD-RAM is a type of DVD disc. It is more thought of as a removable hard disk, than for audio or video.
