I guess mid-range. Don't want to spend just for the sake of spending, but want good performance.

I'm trying to decide between a NF2/XP2500 rig and a P42.4 rig. I know the P4 rig will be more expensive, just trying to get an idea about an optimal rig at each price point.

If I get the Athlon I'll get a Epox 8RDA+, but I'd like suggestions on what motherboard to get for the P4 (I've been building AMD systems since the original slot A Athys).
