AT's own guide reccomends the Gigabyte GA-P965-DS3, but reading the large thread on this particular board has me a bit scared. Any other good suggestions?

And while I'm thinking about it, what is the difference between Intel's 4k and 6k series processors? Doesn't seem like much, from what I can see on sites like Newegg and ZZF.
