Hi guys!
I?m going to build a new budget computer for myself, and I need some advice:
Which of these motherboards generally OC best? It will be coupled with an E2180 M0 stepping. +4gb ram, HD 3870.

G33 motherboards:
MSI G33M-FI
Gigabyte GA-G33M-S2H
Gigabyte GA-G33M-DS2R

Asus P5K-VM
Foxconn G33M
MSI G33M-F

Q35:
Asus P5E-VM DO

Thanks.

I hear mostly about the Asus and Gigabyte boards overclocking well. I have the Asus and it does decent enough. Since you are using an external card, avoid the Gigabyte S2H (the one with DVI output).

You basically only have two good choices for overclocking currently. The P5K-VM and the DS2R. Personally, I favor the P5K-VM. It doesnt have RAID though but the DS2R does if you need/want it. The new ASUS P5E-VM HDMI is looking very promising so far but only availble in Europe at the moment. Probably see it in the U.S. in December. All those other mobos either dont overclock at all or only a meagre amount.
