What material do you use for a case window?

I've heard that there's something called Lexan Lexcon or something that's good. What is it? What do you guys use? I hear plain old plexiglass isn't to good because it will scratch.
Plus, what do you use to attach it to the case: crews/bolts or some form of glue?
Edit: I forgot. I also wanted to ask what you guys think it would cost to get a hole cut in my case at a metal shop or something. Its a moderately complicated design. Not just a square window. I want it to look good and I know I won't do that good a job. Besides, I don't have the tools.

That's mine.. I used GE brand Lexan. I wouldn't used standard plexiglass(cracks too easily when drilling/cutting it). If cost is an issue, i'd look into the Lucite stuff. Its priced in between lexan and plexiglass.

I used bolts, with weatherstripping to seal out the edges.

LEXAN is definitely the way to go. It has much better visual clarity and is easier to machine.

lucite is fairly easy too, but I really, really suggest that everybody stay away from the Home depot Plexiglass "the generic one" ... it has the clear plastic covering. That stuff is absolute junk.
