What makes up the largest volume of cpu shipped?

Most PC press tend to review the stuff at the mid to high end. However, I was also told that lower end stuff like Celeron and Sempron tend to make up the largest percentage of cpu sold (even if they are sold to manufacturers). Is this true?

I'd believe low end cerlery/sempron stuff is king... Most people aren't as savvy as those on this forum, and will buy anything that computes for less. We AT members sometimes get locked into our own dimensions where only high end CPU's exist,
