Clinton had 8 years to go after that osama bastard, osama already tried to bring down one of the towers using car bombs in the parking basement during the 1990's, clinton's response was to shoot a bunch of empty tents with cruise missiles.

Yes, Democrats should have won the last election IF they had followed procedure and had recounts standardized and certified, instead of the random "each county do its own thing". they could have also won if they just had won over the Greens, which was up to 5% in a 0% margin race, instead of alienating enviro policy.

Bush has done a fine job of liberating Iraq from an evil dictator and Afghanistan from an opressive Taliban regime that would not even allow women to see daylight. Bush's only fault is the double tax cuts, the first one was fine, but the 2nd one was silly, because it gave money back to the American people when it really should have gone towards paying off national debt so that our children won't be stuck with it.

Nobody likes to lose, and having the guy who won rub it in your face (wasn't Bush supposed to be a "uniter not a divider"?) never helps either. Clinton was at least kept from reversing everything near and dear to Republicans due to a largely unsupportive congress. Take the inverse of most things Bush has done quietly under the cover of wars and patriotism, and you have most of the Democratic party platform.

The problem with the Bush haters, aren't the fact that they're just "angry" liberals... they are angry conservatives, and moderates who feel betrayed by Bush administration's broken promises.

They're veterans of Vietnam, who are a seeing history repeat itself... they're mothers and fathers who sons and daughters are out in Iraq risking their lives for a war based on lies.

Most importantly, they are angry ordinary people that are out of a job... watch as the GOP and corporations send their jobs overseas... then watch the rich people get more wealthy with Fat cat tax cuts.

As much as the conservative talking heads tried to label ordinary people as "angry liberal democrats", it doesnt work because anyone who actually understands whats going on in our great democracy should be "furious" about it.

Oh.. I'm sure the USSR exists somewhere if only in the hearts of some of the folks way east of here. I voted for Perot in '92 so I get to bash both Bush and Clinton... Well.. I did vote Clinton in '96 but, only because Dole sounded a bit fruity to me..
I guess it goes without saying that we should 'bash' performance that is below our expectations and praise it when it is at or above. What I don't get is the blindness to the reality based on 'loyalty' to the party or the cause. Reminds me of my neighbor who screams and hollars at other folks dogs going poop on her lawn (the owners pick it up) but lets her dog out to roam and poop at will... and we pick it up.. double standard.. it's ok they are Republicans too..
