Best answer thus far. Being a good member for me would be being a bit fake and far less enjoyable than speaking my mind, though I certainly don't actively troll. And yes, ratings are worthless (I have them disabled - finished with popularity contests at 17 when I graduated HS). I had to vote answering tech questions, though 1 & 4 were both good answers. After all, this is a tech board above all else.
Edit: the OP mentioned seniority, which implies post count as well. I think neither makes a difference or even correllates with being a 'good' member. It wouldn't bug me in the least if the forums didn't even list post count, posts per day, or join date.
