What's the difference in the cable internet installed in apartment complexes, than in homes.

Even in my ipconfig /all I see a bunch of different stuff, One thing that stands out is something called "Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface"

Just curious.

Teredo Tunneling has nothing to do with their cable internet (unless their running ipv6 which i doubt). It's something installed on your PC used for IPv6 Tunneling over UDP through NAT.

something was installed or enabled on your computer to activate it...

to uninstall it, perform a "netsh interface ipv6 uninstall" command.

Are you running Vista? All of that shows up by default on a Vista machine. Ipconfig on Vista will show more adapters and info than ipconfig on a typical XP machine does.

You sure? I'm bringing in random laptops from work with no problems.

No, ipv6 is enabled by default in Vista.

There is nothing wrong with the machine, and it has nothing to do with the apt.
