Just wondering. I know sometimes it may be pointless ie:"hmmm" threads. But just out of curiosity why the peeing on the floor thread? Seems to me this is the off topic section. At what point is a topic considered too off topic?

Please don't just lock this one this might be useful to some of us newer guys.

No, sources say they're really an experiment with a bunch of PC's that were linked together to crack RC5 gone horribly wrong. ;)

Irrelevent posts, like posting a greeting on the Hot Deals forum. If the thread contains coupon codes, it'll be locked. If you post something that'll benefit you--like a referral link--it'll get locked. If you post about how one can get around and deceive a company, it'll get locked. Well you get the picture. :)

What can we post here to get this thread locked? Who wants to find out? A valid windows 2000 serial number is ..... hehe...

Sparkle, my mind wandered in that direction too.

I think moderators should mention why a thread is locked . . .. Of course, his [or her] words should be free of personal comments or argument against the person!

I mean, I was wondering too why that thread was locked . . .. Perhaps an explicit note on what isn't permissible would be quite helpful . . .. :)

I think Mods are trying to keep a good standard on post topic & conduct etc, after all new Members are joining all the time & the quality of the Forums is important to both old & new Members,we may not always know why the thread is locked but can make a good guess.

:)
