What makes a good bento box?

I know I could go down to an Asian grocery and buy one, but I don't know what constitutes "good" when it comes to a bento box?

Any suggestions? I want to get one as a gift.

I got the Mr. Bento from Amazon. Not really a bento box, but it's awesome nonetheless. Keeps everything at the right temperature, cleans easily, portable and carries enough food for lunch plus a snack. And I love the metal spork it comes with (seriously, it works well).

Not cutesy or traditional bento, but very practical.
