vista is most notable for security and graphics/gaming

what about win 95, 98, 2k, xp ?

you should preface your statement, Microsoft SAYS that vista is more secure, that remains to be seen. Have they not said that about everything else, and how has that worked out. I don't believe most of what I hear out of our government, or our biggest corporations for a reason, they frigging lie, and often.

In the beta stages they were exposed for having the same stack flaws that they introduced with previous versions. They clearly cannot learn from their mistakes and just keep repeating them.

Plus they are going to be spying on you, requiring that you ask permission every six months or so to continue to use software you paid for. Those that want to pirate Vista or media content will continue to do so, and Vista will turn off many novice users to computers because of all its anti-everything free and open approach.

Way to be OT, if you want to rant about Vista do so elsewhere.
