what major chains do wheel alignments?

Sears should.. most places with service centers will do them. What do they cost? That depends whats needed. Generally speaking, a wheel alignment is a waste of time if you're tires are anything but virtually new as they've been "worn" to the bad alignment.

The alignment itself will probably be <$100, but depending whats needed for parts (camber bolts, shims, etc) that can climb. If you require additional maintenence parts (ball joints, tie rod ends, and the aforementioned tires) it can get more than the $100 very quickly.
