yes, inspired by the tipping thread :p

we've got this one guy... he's not in my department, but his office is right next to mine, so we see each other a lot. he's always complaining about being broke (like, seriously broke... about to declare bankruptcy, repo guys on his tail kinda broke)... and then he's always talking about these great vacations he takes

there's another guy actually in my department who, after 3 years and several explanations, can't seem to use his email signature correctly.. it should go something like:

email text.

---
name
title
company/department name
company contact info

but he *always* does it as:

(no text)

---
email text.
title
company/department name
company contact info

how the hell can work with computers every day for a decade and not know the right way to send an email? boggles my mind.

When I worked in IT for a school I had this asshat "manager" above me who was always on a power trip about *everything* and expected me to drop what I was doing whenever he needed help. He always got super pissed whenever I pointed out that there was a better way to do something(nicely I might add) and insisted that he was right.

We have a coworker who thinks he's a know it all and when we tell not to do something as we were instructed he still goes about his merry way and does what he wants. He even argued with the supervisor, has no personal skills, puts down everyone and it makes me wonder why this person is still here.

I don't really have any regular co-workers. My manager works an hour away from me and I usually see him one day every two weeks. The owner of the company works in Houston, and I've only been down there twice, this past summer. So I'm pretty much here by myself. And I get along with myself for the most part.

This guy who I worked closely with would cut me off when im talking to him like he was never listening. He did it to everyone. Just one of those habbits. Rude none the less.

I'm an Intern. I'm 20. My officemate last year was 17, looked liked he was 14, and acted like he was 12. He literally fought another, similarly immature intern over a pencil. Something I haven't seen since middle school.

That, and he was constantly using Hi2u and Awesomesauce in sentences. To the guy's credit, he had a lot of knowledge and skill, but still...

They guy a cube across from me (at my old job) used to listen to air america all day long. Man, I can't stand that liberal trash. All I heard all day was "BUSH".... "Cheny" blah blah blah from randi rhoads cackly pie hole. I'm not a big fan of their either, but man, lay off it!
