I am planning on install Linux on my computer and i am new to Linux so i do not really know what one i should use..i want something EZ but i want to be about to do stuff like make a Website, FTP and network with Windows so i have looked at some of them to see what the have and some far i see two that would be good Mandrake and Redhat...Mandrake sound EZer but Redhat look like it have everything that i want...what one should i pick?

Thnaks 🙂

Mandrake 8.2.
Buy a good book on Linux to reduce the frustration that will follow.
I'd suggest "Running Linux" 3rd ed. published by O'Reilly.

All the distros have what you're interested in, it's just a matter of how they package it and what other tools they provide (if any). Either RedHat or Mandrake would be fine choices.

And, while your enthusiasm is admirable, realize before starting that you probably won't have all that stuff working well after a day, a week, probably even a month, if you haven't used linux/unix before. Learning takes time. And I'll second "Running Linux" if you really are interested in learning the OS (though its section on X is very out of date).
