Does anyone know of any distros besides RedHat/Fedora that make use of NPTL?
I know SuSE has NGPT, but for thing, AFAIK NGPT is inferior to NPTL, and secondly, I don't like SuSE
Gentoo can also be built to use NPTL, but as much as I love Gentoo, I wouldn't run it on a critical server.
The ideal distro would pretty much be Debian with NPTL, but it'll probably be another decade or two before NPTL is included in stable
