what limits would you OC this too with no more purchases

everything is stock right now, including all cooling....3 case fans + stock HSF on 9800 pro and proc.


what would you do to this?

someone said i should change the memory division to 5:4, how do i do this and should i?

how much should i bump the FSB?

how much should i OC the 9800 pro?

yeah, but what are normal limits, around 250 on the FSB? will ATITool's find max core and max memory set the 9800 pro to the OC where it belongs?

Buy a 420 watt Enermax psu, and an Abit IC7, and you'll be ready to overclock, man. The rest looks quite nice.

Well, I just went and did some homework, and found out that your Shuttle mobo has the Intel 865PE chipset. That chipset usually has no problems hitting 250fsb, even 260 sometimes, when it's on an Abit or Asus mobo. I really doubt you'll be able to get that high, though, with your power supply. And to find out how to change your ram ratio, you're going to have to do your own homework, and look in the bios for it. Your board may not have ram ratios, in which case you're going to have to either buy a new mobo, or buy some PC4000 ram.

well i cant get my FSB over about 215, would this be my mobo or PSU.

Could be your RAM if you're running it in sync.

I mean, if your RAM is running in sync with the FSB, it's probably becoming unstable at 215 Mhz, which is causing the errors or whatever instability you're experiencing. Try using a RAM divider like 5:4... it's a setting in the BIOS... can't tell you exactly where cause I'm not familiar with your motherboard or any BIOS for Intel motherboards for that matter.
