What Lessons Have we learned from the Bush Presidency?

1. Never let your guard down. Just because we've had smart and successful Presidents before doesn't mean the next one will be. Just because Clinton lead over a successful period didn't mean that Bush was going to carry the torch. He dropped it and smothered it with ideological nonsense.

2. Follow your gut instincts. If a man comes preaching peace, his hat may change as soon as he has some power. If a man comes preaching war, he will be the first to escape (from the truth). Choose the man in the middle. The one who will make his decision following the evidence, not before it. Besides, people that usually preach peace and mean it are usually killed when the opportunity is ripe.

3. The world really is simple, not complicated. It only becomes the latter when you try to jam a square into a circle. Ideology and thuggery has its limits. Reason is a better vehicle

4. Patience really is a virtue. It can save lives and money.

5. The truth is out there. If you want, you can always find it.
A lesson you should learn is that topics like this go here:

Sorry, wrong forum 🙂

That said, I have learned from this presidency that I much prefer a president who plays the sax and enjoys a good...well, you can probably guess 😉 .... than a bible thumper with an itchy trigger finger.
