What LCD17 would you recommend?

If there's any other LCD17 in the same budget scope, that you recommend I would take it into account.

LG monitors are generally very high quality and nice. You can usually get better deals on Samsung though because they are more widely distributed.

I couldn't find an Internet vendor for the LG1770HQ; how much were you planning to spend? And what are you planning to do with this monitor? You might be happier in the long run getting something not quite as expensive and going for a 19" screen.
