Yeah I know it's not alot at all. I might be able to push it to 300 cdn, but that's tops.
Here's the criteria:
1. I don't really care if it's 17 or 19", although I'd actually prefer 17, because the dot pitch is finer. I'm assuming 20" is out of my budget
2. It must have a DVI connection
3. Response rate should be relatively low. 8ms rated or so. Just enough so I don't notice ghosting. I'll be watching a few movies and perhaps a few FPS games. Nothing serious. Oh yeah, I know ghosting is subjective, the thing is I have relatively fast eyes. I can spot a pellet coming out of a CO2 gun at 152 m/s. My experience with 8ms LCDs at work don't give me a problem though.
4. I like bright, vibrant colors. That's more of a priority than the refresh rate.
Other than that... Anything goes. I'd prefer if it had a review from xbit, thg, prad.de or so. Lots of user feedback is ok too.
