Hopefully you guys can help me set my latency settings for the Kingmax Superram pc3200 2x512Mb on my MSI 865PE Neo2-P since I am pretty clueless with that stuff. Are the following settings correct?

Configure DRAM Timing by SPD - Disabled
CAS# Latency - 2.5
RAS# Precharge - 4
RAS # to CAS# Delay - 4
Precharge Delay - 8
Burst Length - 4

Or do I enable SPD and let it set automatically?

SPD is the timings it is capable at a given speed essentially.

Set Configure DRAM Timing by SPD to enabled and it will automatically set the correct timings.

How's yours working for you?

I got memtest errors on mine :(

I tried a bunch of different timings and different physical configurations on the board to see if dual channel was the problem etc. with no luck.

I've got my backup ram (Mushkin 512mb pc2700) in now and it's working great :)

Yeah, I'm going to call newegg tomorrow and see what I should do. I only made 1 RMA to newegg in the ~10 computers I've built with their parts so I don't remember how the return shipping goes on bad products.

Welcome to the forums :)
