I know Dell will be offering the mobile Geforce in one of there lineups! This won't be for a few months anyway, so your timeline should work out well.

However, you'll probably spend a small fortune on it! But it sounds like your kewl wit' dat!!

The faster lappy's available 2day would prolly be Toshiba's high end line! I'm not sure if Toshiba will be offering Nvidia in their lappy's though. Look on their website for an announcement!

Also...ATI will be offering a mobile Radeon! That should rock man!! Remember, ATI is a leader in mobile graphics (with Nvidia catching up, yes I know!). I believe their mobile Radeon will outperform Nvidia's mobile Geforce2. IMHO...

Good luck either way with your purchase!

This is like asking about religion :p Most business users will tell you to go with IBM or Toshiba, most home users will probably tell you Dell or Gateway. I have the most experience with IBM Thinkpads. They're ok. The T series (which will be at model T21 moving towars T22 when you're ready to buy) is powerful and light, but when talking about name brand business laptops, you're talking serious cash. What kind of budget do you think you're looking at? The NVidia chip is the GeForce2GO.

I would recommend an IBM, the things are rock solid and they are screamers too. Dells look nice, but I have heard too many stories about poor build quality and bad parts for them to be a real option for me. IBM's ThinkPad A21p laptops are amazing, and as they were the first to offer the 16MB ATI Rage Mobility chip, I would assume they would be quick to adopt the mobile Radeon when it becomes available. Toshibas are nice as well, but when I ordered my ThinkPad A21p 850MHz, the fastest Toshiba I could find on the website was a 750MHz machine. Overall I'd say that IBM is likely the best, but you will pay for it. Personally I think my ThinkPad was worth its price because of the robust build and the great specs. IBMs only ship with Lotus SmartSuite though, plan on another $150 or so if you absolutely have to have MS Office, I found that I like Lotus better though.
