what laptop can you really recommend?

when I purchased my Galaxy Note 3 ($550) I used it and I loved it
same for my current Galaxy Tab S2 ($470)
or like when I had my Sony VAIO vpcsa290x ($1600 in 2011) I loved it - i broke it :/

I can truly recommend them

I think they are some of the best ...

but I am having a bad time with a laptop :/

I have tried 3 laptops so far (list bellow) to no avail :/ I guess they were on a cheap side ...

because I use them often for work and play I do not mind spending for a well valued machine (not latest and greatest ... but proven great flagship machine)

(I do medium Adobe Premier, no gaming, but don't mind a card)

can anyone really recommend something?

thank you!!!

PS:
My old Sony Vaio http://www.laptopmag.com/review/laptops/sony-vaio-s-vpcsa290x.asp

so far I tried:

* Acer aspire e 15 $700 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...15.6"_FHD_E5-575G-57A4-_-34-315-671-_-Product

non IPS screen, colors washed out :/ I love IPS .. and want to up it to 16GB, but my best choice so far :/

BUT I am NOT in LOVE with it :/

===========================
* Dell Inspiron 13 - paid $457 https://www.microsoftstore.com/stor...267100?icid=homepage_featured_1_Dell13_161225

same CPU as above ... plan was to put an SSD in it and up it to 16GB, but it developed a sound issue - sound just disappears until headphones are plugged in AND touch screen stopped working .. plus got very loud and hot

===========================
* Dell Inspiron 15 7000 - paid $750+$150 3 year accidental - http://www.costco.com/Dell-Inspiron...-Core-i7---4K-Ultra-HD.product.100313752.html

the 4K Ultra HD (3840 x 2160) made it very slow and was pain to deal with in Windows (some apps were very small ... etc .. known issue ...) and heavy :/

ohhh also tried

* Microsoft Surface Pro 4 Tablet, paid $900 (Intel Core i5, 4GB Memory, 128GB Hard Drive, Office 365, Bonus Black Cover)
http://www.bjs.com/microsoft-surfac...bonus-black-cover.product.3000000000000407086

* great look and feel ... felt well made BUT BUT an attachable keyboard - I can't use it like a traditional laptop - can't position the screen to any degree I want - when sitting or laying some place - BIGGEST I want to call it a design flaw ... and just one - ONE USB?
