what kyro II card to buy?

There are a couple others. Little Tawainese companies like Power Color.

The Hercules 3D Prophet 4500 is the one you want to buy.

As for a Kyro being recommended over a GF2MX...well it's definately faster. I don't know what the prices are like for you though.

For me the Kyro2 64MB was ~$30 canadian ($20US) more than a 32MB GF2MX, and about $40 canadian cheaper than a 64MB GF2MX 400. The choice was not hard for me.

But if an MX is significantly cheaper it may be a better investment.

I like to keep my video card purchases around $200-220 canadian. The Kyro2 is the best I could get for that price, so I got it.

Hercules 4500 is what you should get. There is also Inno3d, but I would stick with Hercules since they offer better support.
