What knives do you have?

TallBill

Lifer
Heres mine

Top one is a Tanto, next a Ka-bar, next a Buck, next a S&W, and lastly the trusty Gerber.

Note, I only paid for one of these, the rest were gifts.

two gerbers -- i'll see if i can dig up pics of them. I've always liked gerber knives- i'll probably get a new one here soon.

edit--
man those first two you have freaking scary. wouldnt want to be on the wrong side of those.

You'd laugh, but thats the main reason I wear those 2. Just intimidation of locals. Granted, they would work if needed, but 99% of the time its just needed for cutting rope or something. You'd be suprised how sharp and heavy the buck knife is though.

are those military issue? Do you get to keep any of your equipment after your tour over there is over?

I have Buck and Schrade hunting knives. I have a nice 2" Kershaw pocket knife. All 3 are in "shaving" condition, since I sharpened them after hunting 2 weeks ago.

The Buck does a great job with the ribs of a deer carcas. Much better than when I was using the Schrade.

I have a Buck 112, a Kershaw Chive, A Benchmade 770S, and my baby, a Microtech LCC. Both the 770S and the Chive are coated with boron carbide.

Pics:
BC coated chive

A LCC similar to mine, except mine isnt a prototype, and is serrated

Benchmade 770, the serrated model is in the background

Close to appearance of my Buck, except the finish on mine is beat to hell and gone. Still works flawlessly, though

BTW, I highly recommend the vendor that I linked to in the first two images. First class service.

I have a really nice Kershaw Ken Onion pocket knife that I picked up at Wal-Mart. 🙂

I also have a few Case hunting knives. I prefer to collect guns.

I have about:

10 Spiderco knives
5-7 Benchmades
5 Columbia River
about 10 Misc Branded Knifes
and a set of Wolf Knives from the Franklin Mint....

Im too lazy to take pictures of them right now, maybe later. I was collecting them pretty heavily at one point but now since I can buy guns thats where most of my toy money has been going 😛...

Like I said, I've only bought one of the knives. As soon as I return to the states, my gun collection starts with a G17, Wasr-10, and Remington 870, plus probably a 10/22. 😀 But thats a whole different story.

i have a gerber
3 pocket knives i got off qvc or some such years ago, that have held up pretty well, and keep a decent edge on them
and a butterfly knife; which i rarely carry regularly; but is sharper than any of the others

I used to have a cold steel dagger, but I never used it (and that's a good thing) and I'm not too partial to double-edged knives, so I gave it to my buddy . . ..

My knives include a Case XX and Gerber Easy Out. The Case's are my favs though and pretty much everyone in my family has one.

I've lost count. I rarely buy anything other than Benchmade or Cold Steel though. My latest acquisition was the Cold Steel Moro Barong though. It's pretty damn awesome.
