What kinda ram do i need?

that mem will work fine, newegg has corsair 2700 ddr 512 for $52 shipped. look under 184 pin ddr

If it is ddr and you are using it with the 8rda+ it should work.
One side of the DDR is longer than the other where it plugs in, make sure you are matching it up correctly!
