I hurt my neck (left) and left shoulder moving some crap... I'm searching down oxford health's list of available doctors.. what kind am I suppose to go see ? I'm not sure if I should even see a chiropractor or something higher up in the medical field..

whats a specialist in this field or should I hit up my "family" doctor first ?

just asking in case my work can't find something for me by 10am... i'm on my own.. :)

BTW, a chiropractor is certainly not "higher up" int he medical field...they are not in the medical field at all. You'd be better off seeing a dermatologist for your neck pain. Start with the FP. Medicine isn't fast food drive-through. Sometimes it takes more than 5 minutes to get things done right.

It's probably just a pulled muscle. A Dr can't so anything for it but charge you a buttload of money and give you drugs you don't need.

Ice the first 24 hours, then warm compresses. Make sure you don't do anything to reinjure it.

I've pulled neck/shoulder muscles a few times while working out.

Anyone notice the context-sensitive banner ads for doctor referrals at the bottom of the page...that's just sick.
