How's it moronic if the person likes it? Life's about enjoying yourself, not worring about how much something costs. If you like it and it won't put you in the poor house why not buy it? My $200 LV wallet will last for 20 years, that makes it a whopping $10 a year. There are people on here who spend $500 on a video card that they'll replace before a years up, I don't consider them moronic though because I understand the saying "to each his own" Also OP asked about a wallet for $200 jeans, which in my eyes means he probably wants something NICE. Wallets from Target do the job, but that's it. I suspect OP wants something above and beyond that.

Its a tech forum. People here justify $500 for 16xAA but a $200 is stupid to them.

I have a wallet that meets your specifications, but it's not super fancy. It's a black leather ralph lauren wallet. I've had it for at least 5 years. It's endured a lot of rough conditions too. I also don't worry about pulling it out on the street, because I put an H&K USP Compact in my $200 jeans. :ninja:

I have a Ruger LCP in my 20 dollar jeans and am more happy than if I ran around with fancy ass girly jeans and nothing else.

Louis Vuitton makes my favorite wallets I have 4 different ones, you can get them for a good price at an LV outlet.

Let me clarify, a good price for the real world, I'm sure on ATOT even $20 for a wallet's unfathomably expensive.

my favorite of the bunch

it's just the plain LV style but it's timeless imho.

I just ordered one of those. Lets see if it turns out to be a real or fake :D

Theyre luxury items. Just because you dont put any value in them doesnt mean it's moronic.

I don't see the value in it though. Ok, I'll admit that my leather trifold fossil wallet doesn't look like the upholstery on my grandmother's loveseat but the thing couldn't have been worth more than a Jackson or two and I've had it for over a decade. You don't have to spend much for a leather wallet that will last decades.

Depends on your "needs" in a wallet - I like mine as minimalist and thin as possible so I currently carry a Salvatore Ferrragamo. I also have a Billykirk one I like that didn't cost as much...I like the hand-worked touches.

No wallet lasts 20 years and $200 jeans are.... whatever Perk said I echo but I wear shorts 99% of the time.

I use a $.08 cent paper clip that's my money clip for a wallet and it will last 20 years

Sure it does, especially if you switch up the wallet you carry. I have about 10 total and I almost never carry the same 1 twice in any given week. I assure you my LV wallet's will all last me 20 years. My oldest one is about 6 years old and it still looks almost brand new.

Not when you jump in lake like me, work/play hard like me, etc. I can barley keep a cell phone for more than a month.

No money clip. Few hundred dollars, a copy of lifetime hunting and fishing licence, a copy of drivers license AMEX and a visa or MasterCard is all I carry.

High speed low drag:p

I had an old tommy hilfiger wallet that I loved. Cost $60 and lasted 15 years, including my college days; during which time its been through multiple washing machine and dryer cycles, soaked in sea water, breaking my fall and being scrapped against pavement, attempted eating (don't ask, I was... quite drunk), being shot by paintball guns, and other forms of abuse.

Eventually had to retire it because I spent some time in China and I just could not fit RMB notes in it no matter what I tried.

I don't think they make that wallet anymore, it was a bifold with 2 cash compartments (biggest reason I choose it)

Hey Mapleton, do you happen to know anyway I could find an exact pair of 7s online if I took a picture of the tag with the code?

lol wash and fit, those jeans don't fit, but isn't that the whole appeal of them? I don't see how any self respecting dude could wear 7 or any other skinny jean for that matter. I couldn't even fit my Boston Bankroll money clip in a pair of 7 blah blah blah jeans. What a waste!

*EDIT* SHIT I just Googled Boston Bankroll to see what the official definition is and nothing came up. In my town that's what we call a money clip where you wrap $100 in 20's around a bunch of singles to make it look like you have a grip. What is this called to the rest of the country?

I'm in the military, and because of that I spend a lot of time in unfavourable conditions.

And yet, I've never had a wallet damaged because of it.

To be fair, I spent $40 or so on my American Eagle wallet. Within two weeks I realized how stupid of a purchase it was.

I have, however, purchased two pair of Dolce and Gabbana jeans. I will be the first to admit that the pants themselves are hardly worth their price tag. The jeans fit well, they're comfortable, they look pretty good, and they seem reasonably durable. The quality is there as expected.

However, the big reason for buying them is fashion. We're all guilty of it (even you bitter old guys were at least once, most likely when you were single).

People like to present themselves well, and unfortunately for someone in their 20's the best way to do that is to dress well.

Uh, 7FAM makes jeans in many different fits, styles and washes. They're not all skinny jeans.

7's aren't skinny jeans. I am well over 200lbs and have 7's that fit very nicely (not skin tight)

I've never been a huge fan of labels that push their logo down your throat.

always seemed kinda tacky to me.
