what kind of video connector is this??

I was asked to purchase a new video card for my church to use with their Song Show Plus software. I didn't look at the connector on the back until I got ready to install the new Radeon 9600 256meg card. I just went by the computer discription from Dell.com which was a Radeon 7000 32meg card.

The video connector is not a VGA and not a DVI. On the card under the connector is printed 'EDD'. It has 3 rows of 10 pins (the middle row is missing 1) and a 4 pin cluster on one end like a DVI. What kind of connector is this and can I get a adaptor to use my new card with it?

Thanks for the help

That is a reg DVI connector. The old card has 3 rows of 10 pins plus the 4 pin gang on the end. It is not a reg DVI connector.

Is it special for a projector? A Y-cable plugs into it with 2 VGA ends coming off of it. One goes to a monitor. The second goes to a amplifier.

I don't think so. If you look at the pin outs from the site I linked to they are differnt. The DVI-D pin out is just below the EVC section.
