I have a Panasonic Mini-DV camcorder that stores still images on a SD memory card. To get the pictures you need to use the USB connection on the camera not the firewire. The usb connector on ther cam,ers is very small, only a little bigger than the firwire plug. All the USB wires I have are way to big to use with the camera, where can find the one with the smaller connector

You just need a USB cable with one "A" and one "B" end, printers and such use them so any BB, CC, or Compusa should have them

Or just search USB A B cable online

Looks like they have Mini USB also

You need a 4 to 6 wire (A-B) cable. Get it anywhere - CompUSA, BestBuy, SWS, etc., etc. Whatever is convenient.

Most laptops have the 4-wire port - designed for use with imaging devices so they would need a 4-4 cable.

They come 4-4; 4-6; and 6-6. The difference is that the 6-wire cable carries power.
