Blogs are stupid. Check out GTAudiophile's home page for a good example of what a personal page should look like.

Well you asked what people put and frankly blogs are certainly on there. Also links, pictures of friends, I have my c.v. and research interests on my page, but of course that doesn't apply to everyone.

i'm just talking about the splash page... the one you hit when you input a url... not when you're further in the site.

i have reasons for things not on the homepage... the homepage so far is a deadspace.

I'd say that 95% of personal websites will never be looked at by more than 10 people.. they're pointless except for hosting files.

alright, i got it taken care of. a little more formatting, and i finished it.
