they're just using the turret conversion.. IMO it's really a Mag Ach-8 with the M-60A-1/3 conversion.. since it has the dual grenade launchers by the turrets.. (forgot what they are precisely)
the M60 turrets are almost the same except the later ones are more efficient and powerful than than the regular.. in fact, it's common in most tanks today. The m1a1/m1a2 features a 120 mm M256 smoothbore gun.

but then again, i might be wrong.. because I don't know which tank has that much reactive armor than the t-72..
