There are a lot of 'what kind of bugs are these' type threads. The first one to develop a spider/insect recognition software (like face recognition) can be quite wealthy.

Mice coming out of your AC vents is one thing... spiders are another.

You should definitely nuke it from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

I believe that's a Chilean hissing horse spider aka Brown Death, known for several hundred deaths worldwide each year. Go buy a flamethrower

Nothing dangerous. Seriously, It does not resemble any of the bad ones in North America.

Don't lie, that's not true at all.

It doesn't have to bite you to kill you. If you get within 10 feet of one you're doomed.

I beleive that is a Dysdera Crocata
Also known as the Woodlouse Spider or Pillbug Spider

I found one in my kitchen sink a few years ago and posted THIS PIC of it back then. Looks like we have similar tastes in plastic bowl spider holders :D

I wish the pic weren't so blurry, but the size and general look of the creature reminds me of the brown recluse.

Do you live in its area of distribution?

Edit: In every case of my personal acquaintances who have seen the brown recluse in their cars or houses, there turned out to be a LOT of them. It if does happen to be a brown recluse I would heartily recommend having professional exterminators make certain that there are no more of them around. They may not be the most dangerous spiders in the world, but they are not a variety with which I'd care to share my abode.

You need a taxonomist, or some such.

Something like this?

I meant more like automatically through just a picture. You run a picture and it does what it can via color, shape, legs, etc to give you a (hopefully short) list of what it could be and you go from there.
