Nothing to worry about, and they tend to make pretty sweet webs.

Yeah. Harmless spiders (that group known as Orb Weavers), and awesome to charge rent for backyard web privileges. Not catching enough bugs? Be gone with you! Stocked web? You might even get a name!

All of them make beautiful webs too, though not many make those nifty patterns as seen in the OP photo. What's neat about those pattern is it's the spider's way of trying to make sure big animals see the web so that they don't go and mess it all up.
