I got a used subwoofer for my pc from a friend...a Labtec lcs-2424.. I dont have the audio cables for it. Its weird..It has a 9 pin connector that looks like an s-video or something.. I went to radioshack and *rolls-eyes* wal-mart, and of course, they didnt have anything. I am just looking for the name of the kind of connector so I can buy a new one on ebay or something... I searched goodle but not much luck.

Looks like this

Most likely a proprietary connector between the subwoofer and the satellites. Supplies power to the satellites and in some cases allows the user to control the volume of the sub from the satellite.

You can buy them in Digikey. I bought some to make an extension so I could put the sub on the floor here at work.

Male

Female

Note: Digikey has a $25 minimum order

I have a male version of that plug, it splits into an s-video and an rca plug at the other end of a half-foot wire. Believe it came with my old ti4600, but I couldn't tell you for sure - just that I doubt its proprietary.

thats what I was thinking.. I dont have the satellites... maybe I should just go in an rip the wiring apart till i can just see where to hook a negative and positive so I can just go directly to my pc.. :s

Probably your best bet.

Open it up, figure out the wiring, & drill holes/mount new connectors.
