What kind of solder to use on a motherboard?

i just need to solder a couple of capacitors.

also, any specific heat settings so it doesnt burn anything?

Don't use acid flux, use 60/40 rosin core. A 15-30w iron should be fine for adding/replacing motherboard size resistors and caps.

Went to radio shack, i think they have a computer soldering kit for stuff like that.

rack shack, the last time i went there i told the guy "i thought you're motto was 'u got questions, we got answers' ?"
the guy was like, "yes, and the answer is I DON'T KNOW"

I dont even remember what i was asking that dude. ah well. What they know is what the can read off the box.
