What kind of socks do you buy and where do you buy them?

Just curious. Personally almost all of mine are white and from Nike at footlocker or the gap. What about you?

For dress socks, anything that's under $20 that's tongue-in-cheek (I'm actually looking for a pair right now). Believe it or not, socks can be VERY expensive. I'm never going to spend over $50 for a pair.

For gym socks, I get as much as I can get in the biggest pack they have.

I'm not real picky about socks. I stick with the old school white tube socks most of the time, unless i'm in shorts then I go with white ankless (sp?) socks. I get them from Wal-mart.

I own both kinds of socks, the black ones and also the white ones.
I wear the black ones to work, and the white ones with my gym shoes.

I usually wear Sandals when I'm not at work though, so I don't wear socks on most weekends, though now that winter is coming, that will change ...
